Our client, a leader in Industrial Automation products and services, is looking for a Sales Engineer in the South Carolina. Our client distributes industrial controls, motion controls, manufacturing software and project integration within the Southeastern market. Our sales engineers are involved in projects from the concept and detail of the design through to implementation, testing and handover.
Duties: *Promotion and sale of industrial PLC, drives, and manufacturing software within an assigned territory. *Develop and execute territory and specific account plan. *Analyze customer needs with respect to our product offerings and propose options to help them achieve their objectives. *Effectively conduct presentations to all levels of the customer organization. *Prospect the assigned territory identifying and developing automation clientele. *Follow up quotations with technical support, commercial negotiations and persuade/convince the customer to place the order with our company.
Requirements *BS in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering is required *Project management and multi-tasking skills are required *Experience selling PLC's, Machine Vision, and Machine Motion *Willingness to travel 20-40% of the time
