Our client is a well known manufacturer of components and instrumentation used in process control applications. The company has an excellent reputation and a solid position in the market. The Sales Engineer will focus their efforts on driving specifications and providing consultative, technical sales support to engineering firms and end users. The main area of focus will be water / wastewater, petrochemical and power utility applications. The position is highly technical and requires the ability to manage multiple projects over a long term sales cycle. The main focus is the Dallas area with approximately 25% overnight travel to other regions.
A 4 year engineering/technical degree and experience in calling on the above described customer and industry base is mandatory. A high degree of technical proficiency is required.
