Our client is seeking a highly motivated individual for this well established Northeastern Alabama Company. You must be passionate and exhibit honesty and integrity. Self motivation and being comfortable with sales is essential. We are looking for an aggressive business hunter, willing to spend 80% + of their time visiting clients to acquire new business, be able to recognize and close sales when the opportunity presents itself. The ideal candidate should have the ability to recognize, propose, and close from simple to complex controls system solutions.
Knowledge, Skills, and/or Abilities Required:
Required: Outside sales experience with selling PLC / HMI / SCADA / DCS based Automation Controls systems and services in the water/wastewater, Automotive, Oil & Gas, Food and Beverage industries. Manage Automation Controls services, consulting or strong C level experience.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities include the following:
·Responsible for prospecting and qualifying new sales opportunities
·Initiate contact with prospects and work with them to develop an understanding of their needs and translate those needs into product requirements that satisfy their demands.
·Conduct presentations that showcase the services and products of the company to prospects.
·Work with management and the sales engineer to develop proposals, quotes and respond toRFP/RFI documents.
·Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations.
·Manage proposals, contracts, and service level agreements.
