Our client is an established leader in the area of measurement sensors and instrumentation used in the food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries as part of a manufacturing plants process control system. Due to amazing growth we are seeking a Sales Engineer with instrumentation, controls or sensor experience to work with systems integrators involved with the design, installation and start up of plant instrumentation and control systems.
This will involve the following: • Contacting and working with Systems Integrators in order to promote the Company's brand of sensors and instruments in order to develop new accounts • Working with end user manufacturers and Systems Integrators in order to design and select the right instrumentation necessary for the project • Identify opportunities and develop solutions in order to best meet project requirements • Work with project teams in order to direct work and train employees • Work with program team in order to define project scope, deliverables, customer specifications, cost and other details • Travel as needed approximately 40% to customer site for meetings, site surveys, start-ups and product training. • Work with customer management to the VP level regarding sales, contract negotiations, contract changes, proposals, financial aspects and limitations. • Work with engineers and technicians involved with the technical aspects of PLC's, HMI, instrumentation, programming, ladder logic and control strategies.
Requirements: • BS Engineering or Technical Field • 5-7 hears of technical hands on experience involving plant automation, instrumentation, control systems, PLC, HMI • Previous sales engineering experience required. • Ability to travel in the US - 40%
